A perforated or straddle seal (骑缝章) is applied across the fanned edges of a multi-page document so that, when reassembled, the partial impressions line up into a complete seal. It binds contracts, ledgers and certificates against page substitution. The design reuses the company seal but is stamped along the page seam; the editor's perforated layout previews how the impression splits across sheets.
